The client tracked working time across several disconnected tools: the process was fragmented, data wasn't available in real time, and off-the-shelf solutions didn't match how the team actually worked. Before a single line of code, we mapped how and when the team really logs time and where the process slows them down, all with AI tools flagging repeatable patterns and areas to optimise. The key design decision: the entire process in one coherent view. A team of 4 engineers and a PM built the dashboard in 8 weeks, on React, NestJS, PostgreSQL and Redis. From adding an entry, through time tracking, to data analysis and one-click report export.
